Teaching Strengths
PGY-1 resident physician in Psychiatry at University Hospitals, Columbia. She earned her DO at Kansas City University after a Psychology major and Biology minor at the University of Missouri. She honored every clinical rotation, and her teaching brings psychiatry, OMM, clinical reasoning, and licensing-readiness into a steady, mechanism-first system.

What Students Say
Real feedback from students we’ve worked with
“What stands out is how she takes something dense and makes it click without watering it down. She never rushes a session, and she stays with a concept until I can explain it back to her. That patience is a big part of why I’ve done well this year.”
“She found gaps in my understanding I didn’t even know were there and filled them in a way that finally stuck. On top of how sharp she is, she’s warm and encouraging, so I actually look forward to sitting down with her each week.”
“A huge part of why I honored peds and felt ready for the shelf was working with her. She took messy pediatric topics and rebuilt them into pieces I could actually hold onto, and she gave me a real framework for both the wards and the exam.”
“We only had about five weeks before my exam, and she got me to a pass by turning brutal questions into explanations I could actually follow. She’s brilliant and endlessly patient, and she made the whole thing feel doable instead of overwhelming.”
“Fatima has a steady, clarifying way of teaching that makes hard material feel much less chaotic. She meets you right where things blur together and rebuilds the concept so it feels organized and actually usable.”
“Her osteopathic lens is a real strength. She takes concepts that feel abstract or memorization-heavy and turns them into something connected you can reason through, so you build a structure you can rely on under pressure.”
“She is a strong fit for students who need guidance without added pressure. Her style is calm, patient, and clear, with real rigor behind it, and she is great at helping stressed learners organize their thinking.”
“She brings a psychiatry-minded sensitivity to how people learn under stress. Fatima gets that the problem is often anxiety and overload, not content weakness, which makes her especially valuable when you need help that feels manageable.”
